Logo Variants
The full logo can be displayed with or without the tagline. Additionally, the symbol and wordmark can be used independently as the use case requires. When determining which variant to use, consider the vertical and horizontal space available as well as neighboring visual elements.

Clear Space
Clear space prevents type, imagery or other graphic elements from interfering with the legibility of our logo. No graphic elements should encroach the clear space around the logos. This space is defined as the height of the “M” in our primary logo, full logo, and wordmark, and 1/3 the height of the standalone symbol.
Background Applications
When overlaying the logo on brand colors, always ensure there is ample contrast. When using the logo on an image, avoid placing the logo in areas with too much visual clutter or directly over a subject's face. Subtle gradients or color overlays may also be used to provide the necessary contrast.
The following examples are approved combinations.

Minimum Size
To ensure that our logo is always legible, it should never be reproduced smaller than the following specified sizes in any application.
3" (216px)
2.5" (180px)
1" (72px)
Partnership Lockups
For partnerships, make sure that both logos have a similar visual weight, and respect the clear space of each logo. Use twice the width of the letter “M” from the wordmark as a spacing guide.

Member Logo
The World Millwork Alliance encourages the proper use of its logo by member organizations. All active Distributor, Associate and Affiliate members are licensed to include the WMA member logo in their visual communications to indicate that they are members of the association. The WMA member logo is available in full-logo and wordmark versions, with full color and single-color variants of each.
Convention Logo
The World Millwork Alliance's annual convention and tradeshow has it's own set of distinctive logos to ensure cohesive and recognizable branding across all event materials and communications. This set of subsidiary branding includes horizontal and stacked combination marks, as well as a standalone symbol to accommodate a variety of applications while maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity.
Logo Icons
Both our primary avatar for social media and favicon for websites feature the WMA symbol in Cream and Teal, centered in a field of Orange. In both use cases, the size of the symbol should be equal to 75% the width of the masking shape.

Logo Misuse
Do not compromise the overall look of the logo by rotating, skewing, or otherwise distorting in any way, including the addition of unnecessary and unattractive text decorations such as drop shadows and outlines. Here are several examples of ways the logo should never be used.
Never rotate the logo.
Never squash or stretch the logo.
Never resize any part of the logo.
Never use off-brand colors.
Never apply a drop shadow to the logo.
Never contain the wordmark in a box.
